Use Case Overview

Financial institutions managing high-frequency trading and security operations must integrate various platforms to ensure efficiency, compliance, and security. Control-M enables seamless orchestration of trade workflows, providing end-to-end visibility across trade execution, risk management, reporting, and compliance.

This use case demonstrates how Control-M orchestrates trade and security operations, starting from trade initiation in Ion Trading to risk analysis in Murex, data processing for algorithmic trading, machine learning analytics, and final reporting. The process ensures that stock trading, compliance, and reporting activities run efficiently while maintaining regulatory governance.

Use Case Technical Explanation

Trade Initiation in Ion Trading

A trade request is initiated in Ion Trading.The trade request is sent to the trader while simultaneously logging data in Reports.

Trade Processing & Publication

Trade data is published to Bloomberg and other trading platforms for market-wide availability. Trade details are sent to Murex for risk simulation, P&L calculations, and compliance reporting. Risk Analysis & Data Replication
Murex performs risk simulations, P&L computations, and generates compliance reports. Processed trade data is stored and replicated for further analytics. Algorithmic Trading & Market Analysis
Data undergoes advanced processing for pricing, risk management, and machine learning analytics. Algorithmic trading teams analyze market data, stock pricing, positions, ratios, and curves. Machine Learning & Big Data Processing
Big Data & High-Performance Computing (HPC) executes ML model training and sensitivity analysis. Processed outputs are fed back into Reports & Models for further insights. Report Consolidation & Business Intelligence
